Managing Director (Industrial Psychologist)
Theresa started M.A.D. in 1998. Academically, she has a BSc(Hons), MA(Industrial Psychology) and a PDM(HR) from Wits Business School. Her career to date has predominantly been in various aspects of Human Resource consulting - always with a particular interest in understanding what makes people tick in different situations.
The organisations and levels within these companies that she has worked with, have all had significant value in honing a passion for finding the right match of individuals and jobs. This has led to an ongoing search and learning about tools, techniques and approaches which can facilitate better understanding about individuals for purposes within their work context.
"Early on in my career I would never have thought I would end up in the assessment niche - my exposure had given me rather an administrative perspective. However, various things led me to this field and now not a day goes by when I am struck by the importance of understanding individuals more effectively. This passion is now translated into our business mission."

Principal Consultant
Kate joined M.A.D. in 2001. She has a Masters degree in Industrial Psychology from Wits University. Prior to joining M.A.D., Kate spent 8 years with First National Bank in the Treasury Division involved in various aspects of Training and Organisation Development.
Whilst her focus was primarily on this, she was involved in a number of general Human Resource initiatives. At M.A.D., Kate is involved in the administration of assessments and the interpretation of results, together with the development and delivery of training interventions related to client needs.

Business Development Manager
Robyn Stephenson joined M.A.D. towards the end of 2008, with a view to assisting the team in an administrative function, by handling all the “behind-the-scenes” tasks and duties that help to ensure that any business runs smoothly and professionally, as well as taking on the challenge of growing the business to new heights. Her career spans 18 years of sales, administration and communication in industries such as banking, sales and marketing, property and recruitment. Robyn’s strengths lie in her ability to manage any project, big or small, from the initial vision to the end result and implement the necessary procedures to see it through to completion with energy and efficiency. Over the years she has developed her skills to a level that is not only beneficial to her employers but is seen as an asset to any business she has worked in.
Since joining M.A.D. I have gained a wealth of knowledge regarding assessments and have experienced the benefits thereof, firsthand. I have been overwhelmed by the positive impact that our service offering has on the growth and development of our clients’ businesses as well as on the individuals we assess, and I look forward to developing my knowledge further so that in time I may contribute towards enriching the lives of those I come into contact with in the future.”
